It doesn’t get much better than a cheesy, 80s music video for this Funny Friday post.
Poor, poor Billy Squier. With badass hits like “The Stroke“, “Everybody Wants You“ and of course, “Lonely Is The Night“, it was his decision to make the following music video that ultimately ended his career.
I’m sorry (but not sorry) to admit that I actually dig the song but every time I hear it, I always envision scenes from this train wreck of video and start laughing. He totally gives new meaning to that whole white-people-can’t-dance stereotype. Its just SO HIGH– lariously horrible.
The choreographer (Richard Simmons?) + stylist (Jennifer Beals?) have hopefully moved on to other careers.
But damn Billy. Damn…
